Description
This book explores the intersection of ethics, pedagogy, and internationalisation in architectural education. Drawing from a combined 15 years of experience teaching design studios, it examines how educators navigate ethical considerations in the design process while fostering cross-cultural collaboration. With real-world case studies, the book explores the impact of globalisation on Higher Education, the evolution of design studios during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, and the emergence of hybrid teaching models. Breaking Boundaries highlights the enduring relevance of the design studio—whether physical, online, or hybrid—as a space for fostering inclusivity, innovation, and global engagement.
